Dream Snow, written by Eric Carle, is a sweet winter themed story. It is about a farmer who has five different animals and a small tree by the barn. He works hard to keep the animals happy and healthy. After a full day the farmer retires to his comfy chair and drifts off to sleep, dreaming of snow for Christmas. The snow he dreams about covers his animals in blankets of white. He awakes to see that there is real snow on the ground. Your children did an art activity hiding an animal under a blanket of "snow".
