Contest Rules for Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Dear Parents and Guardians,



We are pleased to announce the fourth annual pumpkin decorating contest at Jordan Bank! This family event has been introduced to bring out your child’s creative side. So go wild and decorate a pumpkin. The theme for the decorated pumpkins will be favorite children’s book characters.



Pumpkins will be judged and prizes will be awarded in three categories:

• Most Original

• Best Book Character Look Alike

• People’s Choice


If you and your family wish to participate in this event please remember the following information:

• Pumpkins need to be decorated only, NO CARVED pumpkins will be accepted

• Decorated Pumpkins will need to be dropped off in the Library Media Center on Monday, October 29th before 4 PM

• A completed entrance form (below) will need to accompany the decorated pumpkin to school

• All pumpkins will need to be picked up/taken home on Wednesday, October 31, any pumpkins remaining after 4 PM will be discarded



The library-media staff hopes you recognize this opportunity to read aloud with your child. Please remember this is a voluntary event.
